I moved to Chico in 1979 to go to Chico State and never left and it has been a wonderful place to live and raise a family. I’ve spent 25 years as a builder in the area, including 10 years as a licensed contractor running my own business. In 1999 I made a decision to transition out of the building industry, not only because I was getting worn out, but I could see that the positive building climate we had been in for so long was not going to sustain
I obtained my Series 6 and 63 Security licenses and worked as a Personal Financial Advisor for 6 years part time while I slowly fazed myself out of the building industry. The time I spent and my experience working with families teaching them how to improve their financial position was very rewarding for me.
I’ve been lucky enough since 2012 to combine my ongoing interests in real estate and my personal satisfaction of financial counseling into a wonderful career as a Loan Officer at Guild Mortgage. Guild Mortgage, a direct lender to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, focuses on providing cutting edge loan programs, competitive interest rates, and outstanding customer service.
These were important factors for me when deciding to join the company. I wanted to be sure that I would be representing a first-class company with a high-quality product, and here at Guild, I have found a fantastic group of people and a place where I can achieve my goals and those of my clients. These may be deciding factors for you when you choose to buy a home, refinance or refer a friend and I hope to earn your business and referrals for
many years to come.
In my position, I am surrounded by experienced mentors, skilled support staff and a variety of powerful tools to help me provide you the financing option that will suit your needs. Also, I continually advance my knowledge in order to help my clients make the right choice for one of the biggest and most important financial decision they will ever make.
